I remember the original posts about The Ten Thousand Days on the GiantITP boards, and the whole thing seemed a lot more epic than a single adventure. Perhaps it's just my take on what a single adventure is that's coloring my disappointment. How long will the adventure be? I view "adventure" as being a single task that takes between one and four play sessions of around 4 hours to complete. At least, that's what I aim for when I devise adventures for the game I DM. The Ten Thousand Days seemed to me to be more of a campaign chapter; a storyline that encompasses several adventures that may or may not be the entire campaign. Do I have the right idea for what the intended-for-publication version will be, or has it been cut down to serve as a way-point moreso than a setting?

The Ten Thousand Days is an adventure series. While the entire story arc hasn't been plotted out yet, I'd be surprised if it wound up less than 4 individual adventures, taking characters from level 8 to level 12 or 13.
Part 1, The Temple of Marthull, will be ready for playtesting soon.
